A beginner-friendly workshop where you'll learn a simple, step-by-step framework for sketching faces with confidence, accuracy, and personality.
Save My Spot — It's FreeMaybe you started once and gave up because it "didn't look right." Maybe you've watched YouTube videos but your sketches never match what you see on screen. Maybe you secretly believe you just don't have "the gift."
Here's something I've seen time and time again: the people who say "I can't draw" aren't lacking anything. They've just never been shown how.
Sketching isn't about natural ability. It never was. It's about following simple, clear instructions. That's it. That's the whole secret.
And on the 17th of July, I'm going to show you exactly what those instructions look like.
This workshop is for you if:
Adebanji will walk you through his signature blueprint, the same foundations he uses to sketch expressive portraits on location. No intimidating jargon. No perfection required. Just clear, steady steps that actually work.
Most beginners jump straight to drawing without really looking. Adebanji will show you how to slow down and see — the proportions, the shapes, the landmarks that make every face unique. This one shift changes everything.
You'll learn the simple framework that keeps your portraits grounded and proportionate, even when you're just starting out.
No more hoping it'll come together. You'll learn an approach that will help you improve your sketches — a method that grows with you as your skills develop.
Every sketcher makes marks they didn't intend. You'll learn how to work with them, correct them, and keep moving — so a wrong line never has to derail you again.
Build the skills, techniques, and confidence needed to sketch faces that feel natural, balanced, and full of character.
I've spent decades doing what I love, sketching faces wherever life takes me. Markets, train platforms, cafés, street corners. Wherever there are people, there's a portrait waiting to happen.
And somewhere along the way, I realised that teaching others to see what I see, and draw what they see, brings me just as much joy as sketching itself.
That's why I love teaching people to sketch. Because I genuinely believe that anyone who wants to sketch, can sketch. Not someday. Not after years of practice. Now. With the right guidance and the right encouragement, the results will surprise you.
I've watched complete beginners, people who told me "I can't draw to save my life," produce portraits that made them stop and stare. That moment never gets old for me.
On 17th July, I want to give you that moment.
Come as you are. Bring a pencil and a sketchbook. I'll take care of the rest.
Showdemmm!! 🎨I hadn't picked up a pencil since secondary school. I joined one of Adebanji's sessions thinking I'd just watch — but by the end I'd drawn a face I actually recognised. I cried a little, honestly. I didn't think I had this in me.
Adebanji teaches and encourages people of all levels from beginner to those like me who need a new approach to get them going again.
I thought I was rubbish at sketching and tried a lot of different things like YouTube but Adebanji has taught me so much. I'm really pleased with my sketches now and feel more confident.
Do I need any sketching experience?
None at all. If you can hold a pencil and can draw simple shapes like rectangles, squares, circles, you'll be just fine 😊
What materials do I need?
Just a pencil (4B works perfectly) and a sketch book or a piece of paper. That's it. No special art supplies required.
Is it really free?
Yes — completely free. Adebanji just loves to teach, and this is a chance for you to experience what his online sketching school feels like.
Will it be recorded?
The live session is where the magic happens — the energy, the chat, the real-time feedback. We encourage you to join live. However, if you can't attend live, the recording will be available for a limited time, or you can purchase it for life time access.
What is The Addictive Sketchers Movement (TASM)?
TASM is my online online sketching school — a structured, step-by-step membership for people who want to learn to sketch with real confidence. This workshop is your chance to experience the teaching style and community before deciding if it's right for you.
What if I'm nervous or feel like I'm "not an artist"?
That's exactly who this is for. I have heard "I can't draw" hundreds of times — and watched those same people produce beautiful sketches within the hour. Come as you are.
